Default Mods and Gas Mileage Help

Hello. Anyway, I have a '00 GT and I was wondering on what types of mods I can do to the car that can help increase the gas mileage of the car.

I know that one of the first ones would be a CAI or RAI, but I was just wondering which brand gets the best gas mileage-to-HP ratio.

Also, like I said before, I was wondering what other mods I can do to raise the gas mileage. Thanks for the help!

Any modifcation short of a supercharger, nitrous or a turbo should help with gas mileage.

The whole idea is to get your engine to run more efficiently and with the least amount of resistance in the intake & exhaust.

Unless you drive the car really easy, you won't see any noticeable gains with a gas eating mod motor.

you can also buy one of those tonados..they go inside ur intake...that is if u keep ur stock intake...they have dyno sheets that post about 6hp gain + like 4 mpg er sumthin like that u should be able to get 1 at an autoparts store
is that a joke??

please dont buy one of those, the will NOT help anyting on a modular engine, in fact,
i cant see them helping on any engine

I wouldn't worry about it SC, I pulled the post. Maybe you could edit yours too

Good move on calling that out!! Keep the poor information to a minimum!

I think it works on SOME applications , and cause of that, they try to sell it as if it works on ALL cars.
