Default Foglight Help!

I'm trying to do the independent fog light wiring mod. This is the diy I'm using....

StickShifty:

ok its pretty easy.

1- twist of the shift ****, take up the shifter boot and plastic trim piece, and unplug the plug out of the 12v power plug.

2 - unplug the battery.

3 - pull the plastic trim part that goes from the TC, defroster, and fog switches to the vents on top, you only need to pull the trim part on the bottom part to get it loose about a inch, to get behind the fog switch.

4 - the fog switch is a long tube, on the two sides of it, there are one-way stops, push them in and slide the switch out to you. now pull the wire plug off the back of the switch, to do this push in the one-way stop on the right side, use an "all" or pionty object, i used a small key.

5 - unplug the vert wire plugs, on the left side of the opening. now cut the white/purple wire. there is a solid purple wire, DO NOT CUT THAT WIRE, cut the white/purple wire(cap the end of the wire that goes into the plug).

6 - now, go back to the wire going into the fog light plug, cut the brown wire(cap the end of the brown wire that goes into the dash). now you need to get a small piece of wire about 8-10 inches long.

7 - connect the brown wire(that goes into the fog plug) to the 8-10 inch extension wire, and then connect that into the white/purple wire (that goes into the dash). THE PURPLE/WHITE WIRE SHOULD COME OUT OF THE DASH, GO INTO THE WIRE EXTENSION, THEN INTO THE BROWN WIRE THAT GOES INTO THE FOG LIGHT PLUG

8 - use some electrical tape the make things neat.

9 - connect the vert plugs back together.

10 - feed the plug into the hole in dash and back into the little hole in the bottom of the trim part. (can be a challenge)

11 - connect the fog switch back onto the plug.

12 - shifter trim gets installed and shifter goes back on, and connect the battery again.
But, I dont have a brown wire on my fog light harness. My harness looks like this if looking at it from the pin face:

[ blank ][ blank ][ blank ][blue/red]
[wht/blk][ grey. ][ blank ][ black. ]

The grey and the blue/red wire has 12v when any light is turned on (park or headlights high or low). Which wire do i need to splice into using the lead from the purple/white wire? thanks
