Default BBK CAI and rain

I have always been worried abuot driving in the rain since i got my BBK CAI. I worried bc the filter hangs lower then some CAI. Well just a few minutes ago i hit a BIG puddle. i went home and the filter was soaked. I took off the pipe to the TB and there wasnt a drop of water. i guess the filter stopped all the water. Just wanted to share my story of horror with you all.

Are you talking about a fenderwell intake of just a straight shot?

Have you noticed that your cars smells rich now? fenderwell intakes except JLT cause your car to run rich because of the turn before the maf. The air is to turbulant and gives a false reading.

I jsut got a MAC CAI (same style as BBK) and I noticed a rough idle as well. Also, will running rich be bad for your car?

On a side note, the better fuel economy is really noticable once I got my CAI
