Default P-1 SC Procharger.

I know the baseline superchargers are more of your Daily Driver like the KB 1.7/2.1 or the Procharger Stage II P1. Now they say 12psi is the most recommended boost... But is there anyone here that has GONE over that reccomended amount?

I know a KB 1.7 put down over 500rwhp at 14 psi (which is 2psi over reccomended boost) but that was just that dyno run. Whats the result from long term use. Yall thing the blowers can handel the extra 2 pounds per square inch?

It sucks because I came up 300 dollars short for a D1 Procharger and didn't want to give up suspension or brakes to get there.

I wouldnt go over the recommended unless your engine is built too. Thats why I'm only going with a KB 1.7 at 6psi, just so I know I'm safe.

If your engine is than I would raise the boost as far as you can without exceeding that limit, or go with a S/C that can reach that much.

My worries are not the motor. I know she'll take it like **** Star Houston but my worries is with the head unit.

i think you will destroy the motor before you max out the blower.

i dont think the p1sc goes over 12#, you have to change the impeller, so get a D

also take into account the major issue of belt slippage on the 6 rib system when you start getting over 12psi.
