did you buy spray crap like nightshades or did you get the film from autobadges or someplace like that?

The film isn't very hard. I did it on my mazda 6 when I had it and let me tell you, with all the compound curves it had it was a pain. But the mustang lights are a very simple design. Shouldn't be hard at all.

Basically all you'll do is make your tail light and the tint wet (some people use a bit of dish soap, but I never did) and then place it on and move it around until you're happy with the placement. Then, squeegie the water and air bubbles out.

It's a piece of cake.

the wife's hair dryer helps. wet film and taillight with 5% hand soap, and 95% water, get the placement you want, then squegee while applying light heat, keep heating and swqeegeeing until the film molds perfectly. there might be some very small bubbles after your done... they will come out in a couple days if left in the sun. thats all there is to it, aight?

you'll be fine, just take you time and keep everything really wet until you get it where you want it.
