I guess it's a new edge thing. My '96 has a passenger side key hole.

I never even noticed. I never use my key to unlock the door, only the remote key fob. I have bad aim and might scratch the paint.

Sounds like an aftermarket fob. Should be right under the unlock button and next to the orange panic button.

I bought my car, and noticed right away! Funny how that is.

I thought the trunk release was like some kind of aftermarket one, cuz it's yellow, and matches the color of my car. They really should have put one on the pass. side. What if you need a quick getaway and the closest side was pass.? You'd be gettin yo *** shot goin all the way around the car!!!

LOL. ^^^ Ofcourse, we all know what thats like ^^^

Last year I had a terrible time with this. It never bothered me until December hit and well it didn't really bother me, but it did my girlfriend. My lock actuator went out on the passenger side and so when I hit unlock on the keyfob, my side would unlock but her's would keep locked and I had no way to open her door but climb into the car reach over the seats and open it from the inside. Quite a hassle for me, and she wasn't too happy about freezing her buns off either. I got it fixed about a month after it happened.

But now, my window rattles on the way up on the drivers side cuz the glue or something cracked on the window rack, and now my drivers side door actuator went out. Dang!!! At least I can use a key though.
