Default Good fuel pump?

OK fellas. What's a good fuel pump that's good to about 700HP? I was going to get a cobra tank with pump, but those have gone way the hell up in price. The t-rex one i have is only good for about, what, 450RWHP? Fuel is going to be my biggest limiter when my new block goes in.

dual Ford GT pumps ftw (I think it needs a cobra tank though...)

Walbro 255 is rated at 600 to the fly. For 700 hp, you would think a dual Cobra pump could flow that much. I cant find a hp rating on one of those tho.

walbro sucks for returnless systems, dont doit. if i were running returnless i would do the cobra tank, but yeah they are expensive. im surprised you arent redoing the entire system seeing how you are shooting for 700hp. most people seem to convert to a return style fuel system, have you looked into that at all?

yeah, the cobra pumps could handle that easily. the price has gone way up on cobra tanks + pumps though. the shop i go to used to get them for like $550, now they cost almost a grand. just wondering if there's something else out there that will push the kind of HP i want and not cost me over a grand.

get a cobra tank with dual GT pumps - never have to worry about fuel starvation again lol.

yeah, i'm going to still be running the s-trim for now. should be able to get a solid 15-16psi out of it. i'm going to upgrade to a t-trim later next year and really open her up.

is the t-trim interchangable with the s trim? just have to get the t trim head unit right and new injectors?

yeah. from what i understand, the t-trim is the same size as the s-trim head unit (same case rather), it just has a more badass impellar and other little things.

vortech actually does an upgrade where you send them your s-trim head unit and they'll upgrade it to a T for a small fee.
