so im trying to remove the fuel tank on a 96 gt. i have some questions. 1)must the gramet be cut to remove the neck? 2) where and what do i need to disconnect? 3)how much are new fuel and vapor line clips from ford (OEM)? and 4) is silicone sometimes used between the filler neck and gramet. (im haveing trouble removing the filler pipe from the car so that i can pull it out with the tank.

Did you open up the fuel door and remove the screws in there?

check inside the fender too...i dont think u need to cut anything

oh make sure to relieve any fuel pressure before u drop the tank or remove any lines, and disconnect the battery to be extra sure
