Default SCT tune

I just had my 2nd diablo custom tune chip. As of today it doesnt work. I think i'm going to go with a sct custom tune. What r the pos. & neg. of the SCT

The pos. is that it works. You can program 3 tunes on Xcalibrator, and it saves your factory tune in case you need it later. I have 3 tunes on mine(factory...92 octane...94 octane) Can't think of any neg.

or you could try an actual hand held tuner instead of those crappy chips. Try the predator or the SCT theyre both equally impressive.

How do they work. Do they piggy back the ecu? Then u program it or take it to a dyno and they program it?

Hmm...need some more info eh? Ok, SCT tune will net you approx 10 rwhp/ 20 torque from stock GT. Obviously a dyno tune is needed for best results. You can plug it in your diagnostic port(under steering column on 99-04 GT)and reprogram anytime/anywhere in 30 sec.

It reprograms the factory module. Take it to a dyno and let them program it, may take a couple of pulls for best results.
