I got the SQ, used it had 5k miles on it - the dude changed to a Kenne Bell (wish I was gettin that one! but too much $$)...

congrats on the buy... a buddy of mine has the same blower with almost the same setup as you and turned 12 flats with an auto...i'm sure with the 5-spd, you can get her lower than that. good luck with the new setup MD!!

Once you get boost it's hard to not have a car with it. Just becomes so dang addictive!
How are mustangs with their tuning ability? I had to get a J&S knock retard on my 408 when it was supercharged due to the ocasional slight detonation in the summer. The unit worked great and would only pull timing on the offending cylinder when it was about to predetonate. I heard someone else tell me I wouldn't need it on a Mustang but figure asking again wouldn't hurt. By the way is it intercooled? How much boost are you going to be running?
Be sure to tell me how you like it. I still haven't decide which one to get but I have time since I still don't have my truck back and need something to drive.

Im gonna run 9-10 lbs of boost, I paid.... get this... $1800 for the supercharger setup with a Focus fuel pump - muahahahahaha biatches [sm=icon_rock.gif]
Now I just gotta find some 42# injectors and a lightning mass air meter and Im gold. Gonna have it tuned either in Jacksonvill at DynoTune (chip) or in Atlanta at T&J (I prefer them but they reflash ecu - no chip, Id rather have chip).
Im not running an aftercooler / intercooler (Im on a budget) and I am expecting 425+ hp to the wheels after the tune. I just got some 4cyl fox springs for the front so now I won't have a road race suspension anymore and should knock a couple tenths of my '60. With the springs NA I expect I could run a 12.9 or better on a cool night pretty easily, so now of course Im hoping for high 11's or better since I'll have more of a drag suspension.
Oh and yea it sucks I have NA cams and not the blower units, but I think its not gonna cost me more than 10-15 hp, and their still mucho better than the stock ones with a supercharger anyways.
