Default yet another cam thread....

so i might cams pretty soon (next week) im going with stage 1 cams but need help deciding what kind to get VT or COMP, what are the advantages of one over the other? im also getting springs. is there anything else i should be getting and is this something that i should try to do at home or take the car in and have it done professionally?????

to replace the springs you need to use a spring comressor, and to use one of thems you gotta pull the head. and from what i've read u dont need to replace the springs for a stage one. also id check for warp esp if you pull the head. if your gonna pull the head id send it to a professional, if not, u can swap cams uself as long as u have good mech. skills, also try to get the shop write up like from ALLDATA. let me know how the swap goes!
