Roush Cold air kit

I am looking threw a Performance Corner mag and I see a Cold air kit. Has anybody used this kit? What kind of performance did you get?

I never used it. Is it a plastic kit or chrome. I would mever use a metal intake unless i have a S/C simply because they heat up so much.
