SMOKE!!! help
I have notice some white smoke from my exhaust when iam at the drive thru , i decided to pull over and rev up my car. sure enough white smoke comes out. My friend said it looked kinda blue and/or brown. IAm 700 miles away from an oil change and i have newer mufflers. WHATS THE DEAL

How new are the mufflers and when was the last time you did a injectoor flush? Mufflers may or may not smoke and smell for the first couple days and you will definetly smoke for about an hour after your injector cleaning.

It is possible that you might be burning a little oil.
blue smoke = burning oil
brown/black smoke = unburned fuel/running rich
white smoke = possible blown head gasket, little oil
How hard have you been on the car? Have the maintenence been kept up?

actually this is kinda the same question so i hope u dont mind me usin ur post,lol. i have some white smoke comin from my exhaust too. i have an x pipe and magnapack catback. and for some reason my car burns alot of oil. its got bout 10000 miles on it. what is witht he smoke and why does it burn alot of oil?

well, see im kinda in the same boat, everyonce inawhile when i start my car itll blow some white smoke, but its everyonce inawhile, and it goes away reak quick, the head gaskets are new but maybe i put them on wrong? idono im alil worried about it, anybody have any ideas? but for sxgt im thinkn blown head gasket
