RE: 1000$ budget
okay then, thank you for all the information, it was very useful with the 4.10's already installed, i will get the motor swap started today. too bad i have to go to work in my friend's honda[:@]
i will get them ported and polished, and then it will be ready.
i am trying to squeeze some money from my check and what i can do is 300 this month. so i have 650 for some more mods, what should i go for? cams or exhaust? this car has the flowmaster mufflers,so i don't think i am in a rush for that.on the other hand, cams?what brand? where? thank you

It sounds to me like you need a plan. The best advice I've received is to make a plan about where I want my car to be in the end, then put a plan together to get there. That way you won't waste $$ - unless you have $$ to burn.

hello, first post here
i have a 1997 ford mustang gt what i have is just the bullit style deep dish rims and intake.
I have a 1000 dollar budget for mods, i have already ordered 4.10 gears and that was excluded, so i have 1000 even to spend what would be the best mods for me?any input would be greatly appreciated

get those heads worked over by steen racing and get a cam. you'll have a BEAST with 4.10s. since you have a nice chunk of cash, get the big stuff out of the way. and with this freshened up, free flowing motor, all the other boltons you do will net more power. its what i was doing with my 96 before i had to sell

RE: 1000$ budget
ok look into houston performance they have the perect cams just big enough so you dont have to flycut your pistons then do long tube headers and some form of a h or x pipe and with that combo it should work out great
