What size wheels on 97 gt vert?

What size wheels on 97 gt vert?
I just bought a 97 convertible and it has the basic 16" wheels. Does anyone know if they are 16 x 7.5" or 16 x 8"? This is my new daily driver while the other stang gets a bit of garage time over the winter, and I want to do some basic upgrades, starting with decent tires. It has 225 series tires, but want to make sure the wheels can take a 245 series tire.
