Cams?

Just curious if you guys that have cams had to take your timing cover and chain off to do them? I know that Anderson Ford sells a tool that holds the timing gear up with the chain on it. Have any of you guys tried this method? Also I was looking at getting Comp Xtreme energy cams, good choice, what do you guys run? I have a 00 GT.

I have heard that a lot of people were displeased with the cam tool. I have also heard of a few that did okay with it but had other issues with the valvetrain afterwards.

MDValdosta is the expert on that subject. He has performed a cam swap on his car. He may be doing another on when he installs his S.C. [sm=smiley4.gif]

www.vtengines.com these guys have awesome cams, check them out. never used the "tool" though, but from what everyone else says, it sucks..
