pinion angle on lowered/stiffer suspencion?

pinion angle on lowered/stiffer suspencion?
When you lower your mustang, and/or put stiffer socks and springs on it, does the optimal pinion angle affected?
By definition it looks like it is, but want to hear from experience.

Lower = yes a little. Stiffer shocks and springs = no. Any change in ride height or control arm geometry will have some affect on the pinion angle. How much affect that will have may not be noticable unless you're a pro, however.

Well, the way Im thinking is that pinion angle is set a little negative, this is done so that when under power the drive line is straight. That negative angle is set while on the ground and is assuming that when under power drive line will be straight, into this assumption falls suspencion stiffness. So when you change springs and shocks, you change suspencion stiffness. Correct?

9 times out of 10, lowering a car a reasonable amount actually helps the pinion angle in both directions...
You change suspension stiffness when you change the springs. You change the "reaction," of your car by adding aftermarket Shocks/Struts.
