Default mach 1 w/ UDP??

well i have a mach 1 and from what i hear that if you put UDP's on them the oil pumps will fail. what happens if i upgrade my oil pump to a street/racing one??? then would it be safe to put on some UDP's. its not worth it to buy a whole new oil pump just for UDP's but the stock oil pump sucks anyways (from what ive heard) so its good for the long run also i think. what do you guys think, everyone's response is appreciated!

I have them, but I didn't put them on. I bought the car already like that, and I don't have any problems, although I do have a GT. I really don't think you would have problems, but for 200 dollars plus labor you could put that money toward something else that will give you a better amount of power and be noticeable.

where could you put 200 dollars and see more than 5-6 rwhp? from what i have read udps are one of the best mods for the money that you spend. i have also read about the oil pump thing, so that is up to you. but it sounds like it is money well spent.

right here: http://www.thethrottlestop.com/review-PHPSpacer.shtml , product found here: http://secure-order-area.net/paulshp...=9887703_15379 . That is 3 hp and 15 torque, at half the price- without the risk of a 6,000 dollar motor in a limited production mustang.
