wouldnt be so funny if it was your stang. By the way the dealer ship had the car for 2 weeks to get a new cd layer put in and to fix the odometer.

The stang only has 62K miles and that seems a little soon to have to rebuild a tranny unless the previous owner drove the **** out of it. I just want to make sure that I didnt but a POS.
Dude, you bought a Ford...what did you expect. My GT has 83,000 miles and I've already had a spark plug pop out and mess up the threads and a blown head gasket on the opposite side. Some cars will last longer than others, it's just the way it is. But if you have a bumper to bumper warranty, let them fix anything they find.

Like I have stated before. I AM letting them fix the tranny. However this is a shop that is most likly incohoots with the dealer so I dont feel that I can be sure they are fixing everyhitng that needs fixed or if they are just fixing what they htink I would notice.

I just didnt know if any of you have had a similar experience and what the results of it were.

By the way i am going to let them fix what ever they find since I have a bumper to bumper warrenty.
I repeat I will have them fix whatever they find.

Thanks

Was this one of those used car dealer warranties? If so, those suck donkey ballz. Unless it is a warranty from Ford or another new/used car dealer, expect to pay something. Read your warranty from top to bottom. Hopefully, it will cover whatever issues you may have with your car.

yeah I got the car from a CarMax. I got the warrenty from them. They say it is bumper to bumper and covers all but wear a tear items. I am going to look over it as soon as I get home. The thing I was told that I would pay a $75 co pay if I took it anywhere else, however they said that it is $50 if I take it to them. Either way I have a small co pay. This time i am getting the co pay waived since they have ahd the car for 3 weeks now and I still have to wait till monday before I hear anything else.

Carmax offers a pretty good warranty. You shouldn't have much to worry about. Good luck to you, keep us posted on what happens.
