OK, best bang for the buck 4.6 mods
Alright, bone stock '96 GT, I'm wondering what I should be looking into to get the best bang for the buck mods to wake the stang up a little. I'm definitely convinced on scrapping the stock gears and getting a mean sounding cat back setup (I'm thinking flowmasters?), but what else would you guys recommend. Now, I'm not so much worried about 1/4 mile times, just looking for a bit more street power. Whatcha' guys got?

What are you're thoughts on the Densecharger? I mean, there's a lot of interest in the densecharger it seems, alot of people talking about it...And, under drive pullies, worth putting on you think?

Honestly, the best bang for the buck would be swaping the 273 gears for 373's. PI heads and intake would be the best mod for your car but that can cost quite a bit. The gears have made the biggest difference of all the mods I have.

Where in the world did you get 2.73 from? 99+ come with 3.27's. I dont know what was the last model stang that come with 2.73's. LOL Maybe the Cobra R because of the 6 speed but thats the only model I could think.

On a 96, definately the PI headswap and intake is the best bang, but u might end up spending alot more then you would on somthing like gears, unless u find a deal on ebay or somthin
