Default MGW install

I am getting an MGW shifter for christmas and I was wondering how easy the install is. The instructions that I found on the internet say to change the gear oil. Any feedback would be helpful, I just want to hear from people who have installed the shifter themselves. Thanks

Well its easy in terms to the mechanically inclined lol. I've done CAI, Mid Pipe, Cat Back, and Headers (assisted) but even the Shifter kinda stumped me out a little bit. About halfway through it I had to take it to a shop and have them do the rest.

shifter is really easy. MGW gives you awesome instructions. if you cant follow the instructions or mess it up, you should not be working on cars. look in the write up sticky section, i personally made a write up on it.

I dont have much mechanical ability, but I did this alone in about 30 min.. it's very simple - just follow the instructions.
