RE: idle

you know what. mine is doing the same thing when you put it that way. in the morning, after it's been sitting for awhile, it wont start right away. i have to fuss with it for a couple of times. i told the dealership and they're going to look at it tomorrow after i drop it off. they're going to give me a loaner while they have it. i better have it back before the weekend though. god only knows what kind of car they're gonna give me while they have mine. i smell a focus coming my way.

RE: idle

could be a number of things:

dirty fuel system(injectors)
fouled plugs
you might be running rich
bad gas

are you throwing any codes?

RE: idle

well, i've been putting 93 in it. is that bad? also, when i got the car, it was on the lot and it was completely out of gas. it wouldn't start at all when i went to test drive it. after it was gassed up, it seemed to start ok. think that had anything to do with it though? like i said, they're going to look at it tomorrow, if it is f'd up and it's their fault, i'm going to demand a new new car.

you are lucky that its still under warrenty.. as for 66, i think his warrenty has been voided(maybe). when you start to mod a mustang, its almost certain that you will have some kind of issues.

you can get rid of that if you still have it in there.. not that that is causing all the idle issues. you have that big ass filter at the end of the mac cai, so you don't need the other one. i did the same thing, i left that screen in their and didn't have that problem.
