Default air bag indicator light flashing

Hey there everyone -- great site!

I have a 1998 4.6 mustang convertible...for some strange reason, the air bag indicator light keeps flashing. Doesn't seem to have a pattern to it, either. I've had no trouble at all with the car. Had the alternator replaced about 2 years ago, but no major work since.

Any ideas what it could be and how much it might cost me to fix?

Thanks! Michele

No, but I'd get it checked out ASAP. Air bags aren't something to fool around with.

Pich, you sound so serious. lol. The light flashing means youre air bags will NOT deploy. If you chrash, you have no air bags. Thats all. You must go to a dealership, or someplace that checked air bag codes and find out what code you have and fix it thats all.
