Rough Ride

RE: Rough Ride
How many miles???
Your tires are new so I would rule that out.
IF it's a front end rough ride I'd put on some new outter tie rod ends. Their cheap & easy. If it's a rear end problem I'd think shocks/struts.
It's really tough to tell w/o knowing how many miles/details on how/where it was driven.

RE: Rough Ride
it had 75k on the clock now and it has always been in Michigan...where the roads are the worse. The tires a new but i notice dthe car feels really firm and takes turns pretty well. I thought maybe the tire pressure must be quite high...It sux because the sticker inside the glove box that tells the pressure is gone. Does anybody know what it says?

But if you can declare the roads "****ty" You might want to do an all around struts/schocks/springs maintenence.
It's hard to know where the problem lies when we don't know where the **** is the "problem" is originating??? Front??? Back???

RE: Rough Ride
to be quite honest man...i cant tell if its the front or back...i just say oooo **** when i hit a bump. I looked in the door jamb and its not there...ill look under the hood. Its a pretty smooth ride on the highway my car just doesnt like bumps. its quite bad because when i hit a bump it makes my car kinda jerks when its left in gear and im accelerating which is because i guess my foot is going further down ont he pedal

If I was in your shoes I'd find a set of shocks/struts/springs on ebay for dirt cheap cuz it might fix the problem and you'll need them anyway. Just careful of the seller...
Edit: Jack up the front end and violently shake your upper and lower C/A's. If that part has varience, replace it. Sounds like it's deffinately the problem to me though.

RE: Rough Ride
ok i might consider that. i want something thats performs well but dont want the rough ride...my car seems to be having a hard time hooking up also. I can spin the tires in 2nd gear all down the street

RE: Rough Ride
i dont know much but i went from the michllen pilot sport a/s tire to the toyo proxes 4 and i just put them on about a week ago it rides so much smoother now than when i had the other ones maybe your just used to the toyo tires because it really was a HUGE diference when i went to them
