I just bought some cobra R wheels off ebay but now after I paid the guy says hes not sure if they are replicas or not, so my question is how can we tell? hes sending me pics of the back of them later tonight but what do I look for?? Thanks alot guys

usually the brand is on the inside of the backside of the rim somewhere, i'd still get them though if they look like real cobra R's, rep. or not i wouldn't really care.

no it wouldn't bother me EXCEPT for the fact I paid over what replicas cost and if they turn out to be I could have saved a few bucks. are the rep's. good quality tho?

yeah replicas are pretty much same quality, just replicas. but yeah i see what you mean for paying for it. like a chrome cobra R rim is chrome, just ilke a chrome cobra R rep. rim is chrome, same metal same quality.

I got a set of replica chrome cobras from e-bay last week. They are awesome.
If you want original Ford factory rims that have the Ford markings on the back be prepared to pay extra for them.

From the shiny side no one will be able to tell the difference though.

this is not always the case - the amount of plates can make a big difference also the alloy strength is different _ i wouldnt worry or anything- but cheapos can break on ya. Also did the auction say real or knock off's? if he lied then get your money back!

actually it didn't mention, just said Cobra R rims (which I guess calling them cobra R rims does make you think they are real)

yeah i wouldn't worry about it, i personally think it would be retarded to pay extra for a ford name Cobra R rim. i mean the name is on the inside of the rim where you can't even see it at, and your paying how much more money just to have a rim that says "ford" or something else on it when you can get something the looks exactly the same for cheaper.
