no i wanna know your reasons why not....tell me what is so wrong with somebody wanting to put there mustang over the 300whp mark. last time i checked its not a crime.

because its hard on a 2v car. they dont respond well to mods so puttin all that money in ur car to only get 300rwhp is pointless. im not sayin u shouldnt buy y not buy a faster car and start from there?

see your missin the point. its not always about the how much hp and how fast you get there. sometimes its just about the build...doin somethin fun not to mention who doesnt love the sound of an aggresive cam. i sure as hell do. i agree though if you want the most out of your 2v then by all means go FI. but buildin a motor is always fun.

The entire point is this. You can spend 1500+ bucks on a decent set of heads, 550 on cams, 200 on valvesprings, 1200 on exhaust, 800~ on intake boltons, 180~ on a set of u/d pulleys, plus all the other little stuff, and a 500~ dollar custom tune....

And you have now spend 5000 bucks... and your still getting wiped by exhaust/gears LS1 cars, and that really sucks.

Or you could spend 4500 bucks on a complete vortech kit and some gears, and make 360~ whp (in an otherwise stock car), and not have to worry that every LS1 you meet has a set of headers and a 3.73 rear gear.

I was literally thousands into the car, and I still had to drive the HELL out of the car to outrun a completely stock LS1 car, and that really sucks. If I could do it over again I would have gotten a vortech the first thing.

You have a 2v. Just head straight to FI, that is of course unless you have a bottemless checkbook.

and this i understand...ive been through numerous posts about it....its thousands cheaper to go FI, not to mention the ls1 problem. but if youd listen to what i said sometimes it isnt about bein the fastest **********er on the ****in road. sometimes its just the fun in tearing down a motor and rebuilding it.

now you **********er mike...i dunno what you ****in problem is you peice of ****, the only thing i said to you was give me your reasons why you wouldnt want to do a set of heads and cams on a 2v...and you had to come back with your peice of **** attitude and crappy *** remarks. do me a favor and shut the hell up. this is a forum and i am entilted to my own opinion. i can say what i want. but its ****ers like you who make the forums not fun. is it cuz you werent held enough as a child or maybe your boyfriend poked to far in your *** last nite, i dunno, but what i do know is dont bring your bull**** in here. thanx bud

if you wanna build the 2v...then build the ****in 2v. dont let people tell you its a waste of money...if it makes you happy in doin it then by all means DO IT.

+1 to jj03's section about mike, it's attitudes like his that keep newcomers from staying in the forum.

yep, not to mention the BIGcam+4.10 gear ls1's that are oh so popular hear in tx.

still, if you still wanna go all motor, just buy heads cams, etc, made for a blower setup, so then when you get the blower, you can push 400whp withl ike 6lb of boost, and then go get a new rotating assembly and crank the bitch up to 600whp
