Someone once told me that the "Vtech" means this...

Normally valves go in & out. Well on the v-tech the valves go in circles. He also said he hadn't had an "opportunity" to **** with his "vtech" yet.

I was sitting in the staging lanes with my hood open, letting the engine cool off. This DORK with his friends walked up and OMG, I couldn't stop laughing. The Dork must have been the leader of this group of goofballs.

He looked at my engine and was telling his buddies about how I was running the "new P51 supercharger kit". I kind of giggled to myself and it only got better. He then began telling his buds about the work he was gonna be doing to his 1989 GT. He was gonna have high stall gears in the rear end with variable transmission gears. The icing on the cake was that he was have an "instant on" supercharger. that way no one would know he had a supercharger until he flipped the switch. Can you say, "too mush watching Mad Max movies"? LMAO
Maybe he is gonna run an electric blower

Oh its a shame you didn't think to point to something, like your by-pass valve and tell him that " you see that, when I turn it off the supersharger is off, and when I turn it on, its on, AND its vacuum controlled from inside the car". That may have been funny.

Acutally they do make true electric superchargers (not the tornado type) but they only work for small engines.

I saw a guy on the net that had one on a escourt GT, and he was making I think 40 or so more WHP with it, but its only good for maybe one 1/4 run and then you have to recharge the batterys.

Not to mention he had to add 2 or 3 batterys on top of the blower weight.

Theres nothing funny about it, they acutally do make real (non tornado) electric superchargers.
