4.6L supercharger kit for a P71 Crown Vic, same as Stang?
 

Hello. New to this forum and Ford cars, been driving GM all my life, but recently I bought a 2003 Ford Crown Vic police interceptor with the P71 package. Its got some balls, but I need a bit of a boost. I have been searching for a supercharger kit but can't find one, while Stang kits are all over.

Here's a kit for an 03 stang with the 4.6L V8. So my question is, do the stang and the crown vic have the same 4.6L V8. Would this bolt on to my crown vic, or do I have to modify anything? And anyone seen any kits with aftercoolers?
I know its possible beause I found a crown vic with one installed.

yes the mustangs and crown vics have the same motor with a little different tuning and such. but the kits wont fit. it will fit with some adjusting and fabricating but you would need new brackets and im sure the pipes wont fit in your engine bay. they are made for the specific model

Ok thats understandable. Same engine but different engine bay, rerouted a bit different. Does anyone know where I can find a kit for a crown vic??

Sorry still dont know how to add links[:@] But have you tried Allen, they make s/c's for fords and I think I saw a Vic kit mentioned. Good luck

Hey thanks, they do, but it stops at 2002. I've read they redesigned the vic in 03, so there might not even be a kit out yet for the 03 and up vics.
