You might be able to squeeze a 275/40 on there, but I don't really see a 315 happenin on an 8" wheel.

No that wont fit. I just ordered my drag radial from a local discount tire. I have the 17X8 wheels. The biggest tire you will fit on there is 275/40/17 if you want good tread wear, and that is running them at proper pressure. There close to 10" wide though. I got the nittos. they will be here in 2 days.

you CAN get 315's on a 8" rim. it would look stupid. you will loose traction. it will wear unevenly. with all the said you think about it

tirerack, i wouldnt go larger than 275 on an 8 after that you have unwanted sidewall flex along with all the other formentioned stuff

your gonna need at least a 10" rim for a 315, but a 10.5" rim would be better

Discounttiredirect.com - cheapest place hands down w/free shipping.

biggest that will fit on a 17x8 is a 275/40.. that will be more then enough with bfg's.. I hope you don't plan on driving in the rain.

315's looked ridiculus on my buddies 17x9 rim, no way on a 17x8.

jegs has had the fastest delivery in my experience.
