i was actually curious about the same thing. my buddy owns a 91 stealth rt tt. got a few mods done to it and it's pretty damn fast. his shat only has 60,000 actual miles and like 30,000 engine miles. i wanna know if i'd be able to take him on or what i'd need to do it. :D

He should pull you from the start and you should catch him by second gear and pull about a half a carlength to a carlength on him until you reach 100 or so(Quarter mile)....Anything beyond 100 and he will pull on you...Stealths are electronically limited to 155....and they will pull every bit of it..

I wouldnt bet money on that race. AWD plus TT= ownage for tha GT. Plus any car with a stock turbo is easy to make fast (or faster). But the aftermarket for the steath is small. So who knows.

But defiantly race and let us know wut happens.

All it is is a 3.8L, Right? TT should be a little slower off the line till the turbs spool up. Then he will end up catching you in the long run if he is modded out.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the Stealth is AWD.

RE: Stealth vs GT

its AWD thats why its 3700lbs the stealth ES is 3100lbs give or take and 220 hp , runs 15.0

SXGT 08-28-2004 12:57 AM

RE: Stealth vs GT

look at it like this the ES runs 15.0 now add 600lbs. It runs 15.6 now. Lets add 100hp, It is AWD BUT! it has turbo lag which somewhat cancels that out and it would be like a N/A 330hp 3700lb car.Now mathmaticla figure out what a 330hp 3700lb car runs.

yeah they are around 14.5 in the 1/4..but i watched a guy hit a 13.9 at moroso..all he had done was a cold air intake and a chip
