yeah the guy is really cool. He is my friends step dad and I met him this thanksgiving when I was at their house. We got to talking about cars and I found out he is a mechanic and really good one too. He has worked on porche's ferraris, mustangs, cameros, just about everyhting. He has his own shop now and is pretty much the go to guy for that town. He said he is sick of doing auto repair and his passion is in building hot rods. He told me everytime I get a new part to bring it to the shop and he will not only install it for me for free but he will let me do it while he over looks every turn of the wrench I make so that it is done right. I cant wait. Now I just ahve to get some good deals on the parts.

the 4.10 and 3650 will redline at about 175 mph... given you have the power to get there. Ive had my car up to 155 with the 4.10. So dont worry about it, and as for gas mileage, if you drive it like an sane person the MPG is almost the same - maybe a 2mpg loss

best brand is ford racing without a doubt. they all do the same i just like putting ford stuff in my ford...feel me? oh and rbstang...you can push the gear calc further than 5000 rpms. with 4.10s you should still be able to hit 160+ granted ur stang got the power. 4.10s actually help top speed in a way. It takes forever to get up to 150 with stock gears 4.10s make that 5th gear actually pull

that was a great article and pretty much answered all my questions. Almost makes me want to go with something bigger than a 4.10
