I would think you can find what your looking for, at 8000 - but it takes time, check locals .. mustang trader - autotrader...
yea alot of idiots think there car is worth 10k... haha I was dealer with a guy last month he had an 01 - 115k miles coupe he said he couldnt take less than 12k - LOL i laughed in face.

wow guys, those are some good deals yall found. Theres a guy trying to sell me a 99 just Exactly what I want for 7k. What do ya know, its got 101k miles. Im a pretty patient person, but when I get my sights set of something I want this bad, Im not gonna wait long. Maybe ill find it somewhere. thanks for the help everyone. Im trying to find a 99 or 00 GT for fairly cheap. I have a truck thats worth about $5500 and another ~3k to put on top of that. I have been looking for stangs for a couple months now, and I can find a damn thing. Every car i see has 80k+ miles and they still want 9-10k for them.
Are there any 40k mile early new edge's left? lol How do they hold up to and past 100k miles? Would you be scared to mod a 100k mile GT? What weak points should I look for? Im kinda weary.
If anyone wants to help me out, im looking for a 99-00 Gt 40-60k miles, coupe, 5speed, RED, >$8500. lol. Thanks guys.

I bought a 99 with 104K
traded 00 xterra with 155k and 1k cash
Got it from my job so they have been helping me out with the probs i have had
But 104-108K miles, it needed 2 coil packs, plugs, rotors, they put brakes on it, new intake manifold, clutch just your normal...... i have 115K now and still dog it out been holding up pretty well.
BUT I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER WITH HIGH MILEAGE!!!!!

90% of used cars are marked up 2500-5000K if it was a trade usually more... so that should give you room to work with on getting the price down.
