i have heard slp lm1s in person but not the lm2s. I honestly do not think lm1s have much of a tone at all to them. they sound like a bunch of noise. If i was to go bullit style mufflers i would go with magnapacks...they have a pretty nice deep tone to them

Question for you guys, I was browsing Mustangexhaust.com for sounds and I heard the best one yet., in my opinion at least. Follow this link and it's the 2nd one from the bottom, http://www.mustangexhaust.com/forums...s.php?catid=23 that is 590kb on a '03 GT. The thing is, it doesn't state if it's the LM1 or LMII. Any idea which one it is? Man it's DEEP, and extremely throaty. What's so awesome is that it's on stock manifolds and stock midpipes. That is exactly the sound I am looking for.
I IMed the guy who posted it and he didn't know, he was gonna ask the guy who owned the car haha. I couldn't really listen to it at volume since I'm at work, but it sounded a bit loud and raspy to be LM IIs to me from the little bit I heard. Maybe someone else knows better.

I would have to agree and say it sounds like LM 1 as well. Lm 2 isn't quite as raspy or throaty, and its deeper than that.

Hmm, well if those are the LM1 then I am sold. That is the best sounding exhaust I've heard on there. And the thing is it's so raw that from the clip you'd think the guy had an aftermarket midpipe, but it's ALL factory (manifolds and headers). If I got the LM1 I would get the deep throaty sound WITH the rawness, and I wouldn't need to upgrade my factory midpipe. The only reason I was going to upgrade it was for more sound, but the LM1 may have everything I want in sound in 1 product.

Also, I just got an IM back from the guy who posted it. He said the owner verified that they are LM Is.

Alright, thanks man! Wow I thought I could find LM1's for $400 and under but the cheapest I found was $463 at Nino's. I can get the Stingers for $500 off of ebay. Tough choice, tough choice.

Nice! Thanks bro, I may have to take the plunge and buy them before I lose my nerve. I see you have the LMII, any reason why you chose them over the LM1?

Its not as raspy/throaty and its deeper

I like the smooth tone, not the throaty tone though, so its all in preference.

I have a clip of my LM 2 behind the car vs mine stock, but it gets distorted when its the LM 2's turn to rev :P

I have some new ones that I havnt posted yet, but will soon. I will send you a PM when I do

And here is a full SLP exhaust setup with LM 2 that I just love, its not mine though :P

http://youtube.com/watch?v=-Tsp6GhNEI4

They sound better in person too, louder and deeper
