IMO if you are going to replace the pads and the rotors you might as well upgrade to the bullitt/mach 1/early cobra front brakes. The kit comes with new lines, pads, rotors, and calipers, and it upgrades your GT 11.5 inch rotors to 13 inch rotors (and I think brembo calipers?)

The kit costs around 400 bucks, so its really not that much more costly. I am going with this setup after christmas since the front rotors/pads are done anyway.
Sounds like a pretty good deal... Who sells these kits?
Americanmuscle.com carries it, but is currently sold out. I am also waiting for them to restock them!

They are more like 450 I guess, but still a heck of a deal.

Buy Ford Racing

They're the cheapest I've seen for brakes.

If there is any warpage or deep gouges in your rotors (which may be if the calipers locked up) then just take it to a machine shop and get it lathed (either you will and it should be fairly cheap, or they'll they cant be turned and you need new ones anyways)

I myself am changing my brakes now, and i bought SS brakes lines, hawk HPS pads and power stop rotors...+1 on the front brake upgrade everyones talkin about though

OH...and if you take the brake lines off the calipers or anything like that, stop the lines up real fast because bleeding brakes isnt too hard, but you cant bleed the ABS by yourself
