my wife finally gave me the ok , so I ordered the KB 2.1 9psi intercooled unit . just wanted to see what kind of hp/tq #'s people are seeing & what other mods you have besides the SC ?? I know what KB rate's hp/tq at , but I wanted to hear from other's . plus , I'll probably wait til end of winter before installing & tuning so thanks for any info .

i thought the 2.1 s/c was for cars that have been fully built and are track cars and the 1.7 was for cars with stock internals or have had alittle internal work.

they dont make the 1.7 anymore . the 2.1 replaced the 1.7 . thats what I was told & have read .

You know... I dont see alot of guys here on this forum that have the KB's on their GT's. Alot of guys seem to favor either using a centri supercharger or going with nitrous. Good choice tho, KB's are top quality.

i don't have a kenne bell but i wish i was you so that i could have one. I am not allowed to get anything for the car until after Christmas. i have to gt the kids first.....Not fair...im still a big kid inside, just my Hot Wheel is a little bigger

yeah , thats true . I wonder why ? I think a screw/roots type s/c is kinda like both . you get the instant boost like nitrous , plus they make alot more tq in lower rpm's than centri s/c's . it's probably easier to hook-up w/ centri s/c though .

Keep us updated once you get it on so everyone can hear how great they are!! I've been wantin to get a KB 4ever now and I would like to know how much other people like them before I invest 5g on charger! Thats gone be one bad little pony!! haha
