hey guys hows it going. im installing 3.73 gears and i was wondering what the break in period would be?

Everyone will say something different basically you want to take it easy in the beginning make sure everything sounds right etc so Gear break-in procedure should be as follows for a streetcar. Drive at normal street speeds for 10 miles; let it cool for 30 minutes. Do this 3 times and then let the car sit. Check for whining or vibrations while doing this, there should be none if you followed the shimming procedure and setup the backlash within spec.

there is no certain miles you need to drive. you just need to go through a few heat cycles. let them warm up and then cool down two or three times. then you should be fine
