Are LM1s obnoxiously loud w/ stock midpipes?

From the clips I've heard I love the LM1s the best., deep throaty and very raw. Only thing is though how loud are these things. Will I be a cop magnet or what? Is the exhaust only really loud if you get an aftermarket midpipe? I'm sure the LM1 will sound great but I don't want to be crazy loud. I considered the LMII but I can get the LM1 for $100 less.

lm1's are louder than most exhaust's offered for our cars I run the midpipe with cats back and its not raspy but rather a nice bark and a great ton I would tell anyone to get them if they like a little bit louder of a sound. I have gotten use to mine and I love them. With cops it depends on the area you have to be smart put it up into 5th when you see them etc its all common sense. It will be a little quieter with stock mid but will still sound good I would not say recommend to get a offroad x or h way to loud and raspy that would just be obnox just my .02

The LM1's also seem to get louder when you add more mods. I have a buddy that has them, and they are just plain obnoxious when he gets on it. He was banned from a local track b/c of them.

I have the LM1 catback on my car with the rest of the equipment stock. They are loud, but not until you really get on it. If you accelerate evenly they are not bad at all. Same with cruising speeds. However, all of that is out the window the second you decide to give it a little gas. They sound awesome. I love mine. Until I get S/C'd, I figure mine this will be as loud as it gets, seeing as I live in CA, the only other exhaust mod I can do legally is shorty headers.

He said that it was b/c he was setting off all of the car alarms as he drove in...lol. I wasn't there, but that's his story and he's sticking to it.

I have LMI's on a stock midpipe. Like said above they are loud when you get on it, but while driving normal its not bad at all. You have no trouble hearing the radio or carrying on a conversation with the stock midpipe. I love the way mine sounds, but I want an O/R x-pipe so its louder. As far as tickets, you shouldnt have to worry about it, unless you flat stomp it right in front of a cop. Get the LMI's you won't be dissapointed.

Thanks for the feedback. If only I could find the LMII for under $400. LM1 may be a bit too loud, especially if I'm heavy on the gas, which I usually am.

lm1's = racecar sound

lm2's = typical magnaflow/flowmaster sound
