Alright this kid in my school has an man. cobalt ss and he thinks he will smoke me in my man. 99 gt. His car has an cold air intake and about 95 pound system in the back. I have an cold air intake bored throttle bodie sct racing chip flowmaster mufflers and an rear seat delete and i just got an mac offroad h pipe. Who will win. By the way he wants to bet money on it!

is his the supercharged SS or the N/A SS? they're quick, but easily smokable...and if he drives likes he talks...you'll have him by more

the cobalt is supercharged (i know the guy)and a manual the factory times for their cars are both 14.1 and the 99 stang 0-60 is better by a couple tenths of a second. so i think it comes down to the better driver.

u will take him easy. my friend has one and untill they do the pully swap they are slow. after 2 months of driving it he took it to the track and ran 15 flats. i would defently bet on it. even with his cai it still won't matter. (my friend only drove stick for 2 months before that run but im sure this guy isn't too much better)

now he has a cai, 42lb injectors, 2.8 pully (15psi now, stock is like 7-8), new pcm, and raised rev limiter to 7k. now it is pretty comparable to my stang but i still think i can take him. i haven't had a chance to run him yet. will post on the forum after i do win or lose.

u will win unless u suck ***** at driving. they (cobalt ss s/c) are rated through all the automotive magazines at 14.6 in the 1/4. with his system i know he will be in the 15's.

all cobalt ss's are supercharged and stock they run high 14's according to automotive magazines. u should win with ur mods and his extra weight in the trunk so bet him $$$$

put money down on it. You will smoke him as long as you hit all your shifts right. I ran one with mine when i just had U/D pulleys, exhaust, and K&N. Ended up pulling hard on him from a roll. From a dig you should own this guy.
