so i told my dad i wanted to get some bfs or goodyear tires for my car..just the rear tho cause theres not a damn thing left to them...ne way the tires on there now are nittos 555 ..he said that your not suposed to run dirrerent tires on the front and back...i dont see why it would matter if i had nittos in the front and somethin different in the back...might look kinda dumb but i dont care...any way has ne one herd of that befor? do you HAVE to have all 4 matching tires?

It doesn't matter. As long as the back two are the same size you can run whatever you want.

Won't be an issue, if you can check out how 'tall' the treads appear. Sometimes a tire with an aggressive tread will be slightly taller and give the car a goofy look.

I mix tires all the time. It seem everytime I buy 4 new tires, I either need new front tires or rear tires within 16 months and the model tire I had is no longer available.
