Go vortech and get it over with. 5k should put you right about the limit of your cc with final costs. Would be good if you were mechanically inclined and did the install yourself then have a shop tune it for ya.

Edit: If you want a louder whine, then just go with the non SQ version, not as loud as a kb, but still noticeable.

i buy everything on credit, and immeadiately pay it off once i get the statement...that way, once i NEED credit, i will have an excellent rating...

mike, just because youve obviously have some credit card problems in the past, dont be blowing up on a moderator who was simply trying to give helpful advice. also, not everyone is careless enough to break things while working on their car, and they dont need to rely on others to do things right...so unless you have something useful to offer to the conversation, pipe down.

A couple bolt-ons & nitrous will get you the same gains as nitrous, for waaaaay less money.

It'll be less fun than a supercharger, as you won't always have it ready whenever you want it.

i would stay away from powerdyne if i were you. ive heard bad things about reliability and service. most of the other brands...vortech, procharger, kenne bell, saleen, paxton are all good and reliable from everything ive heard.
+1

Stay AWAY from powerdyne.

MPH mongoose kit FTW if your on a budget.
