The thing about swapping engines is that you are still going to have the poorer quality car. The rear end is smaller for sure. The suspension could be differant. For example, a cobra or a gt are all built with their power in mind, certain aspects of the car a "beefed up" to handle the power and just to make a better car in general. What im saying is i dont think it would just be a drop in and done because im sure their will be a ton of weak links if you drop a more powerful engine into a car that wasn't designed for it.

You need to beef you and get new engine mounts. Get a rear end from a gt and put an eaton in it. The suspension is cheap as are the control arms. Its just a matter of gutting out the suspension, brakes, and drive traine. Its more time than money really. But still. A lot of money
