This whole romeo windsor crap is soooo stupid. I'm extremely frustrated with finding the crap I need to go from romeo to windsor heads. If I knew how much extra I had to buy I would've gotten brand new PI heads from Ford. But no, I wanted a "bargain" So yeah anyway. Can anyone tell me the size of the bolt that goes in through the timing cover in to the head. This is windsor style. I'm thinking it's a #9 * 1.25 60 mm

Go to the dealer, they are the same ones that the Expedition use, I think 2001 or so. I did the Romeo to Windsor head swap. At the time I didn't know there was a difference. THe Romeo heads use #8 bolts and the Windsor heads use #10 bolts. I agree, it's a pain in the a$$.
