By "valve pan covers", you mean valve covers? If you have romeo heads, you need romeo valve covers (11 bolt). If you have windsor heads, you will need windsor (13/14 bolt) valve covers. PI heads come in two different castings, non-pi don't.

well i forget there was a whole tech forum about this so i read up on it, the heads the guy is selling is 01 heads, which is from a romeo motor from my knowledge, so i don't think ill need new valve covers, just need the head changing kit and heater hose. do i need anything else, i read about a "2nd ect sensor placing" what is that about, or is it a nessecary(sp) thing that has to be done?

You need a PI intake with an aluminum crossover. Make sure the crossover has a spot to drill the hole for the second temp sensor, I don't know if all of them do or not.. Take it to a machine shop and have it drilled and tapped.

is this second temp sensor necessary? can i just move it somewhere else? i just want to do the swap myself so i don't have to pay the highass price of taking it to be done by a shop, unless it's cheap to just have the thing drilled and tapped alone.
