Default Xcal2/Predator...confused

[:@]ugh I'm so confused.

I looked though some threads about the two and such. I don't have brand preference, and I want to get a tuner very soon.

My primary concerns as of now are this: My speedo is off (due to 4.10 install) and my CEL is on because of the O/R H pipe (it came on shortly after the H pipe was installed)

Will either of these/both turn off the O2/rear O2 sensors? Plus, is there anything that one can do that the other can't?

I appreciate any feedback.

xcal doesnt data log, predator does, they basically have the same adjustability though both can come with a canned tune from seller you can go back an adjust more by hand with the predator than the xcal because you would have to bring it to who programmed it to adjust setting with the program, though I prefer xcal thats what I run and thats what my tuning shop runs and a lot of places now are going with that. You can shutoff the o2's with them and adjust for gears, tires sizes etc just tell whoever your buying it from to have a canned tune or have them do it at a dyno shop if thats the way your leaning. hope that wasnt to confusing

Thanks for the responses.

The way I will be getting the tuner (whichever, probably the XCal ) I will buy it from a shop that sells performance parts and ****, but they don't have a garage or anything. Will the tuner have a built in tune already, or do I get to play around with it myself?

both will; take care of your problems, calibrate speedo, diagnosis, etc, i dont know details of the xcal but i run the diablo and love mine. i know people with the xcal and they love theirs. both are good tuners just pick one that you think that you will feel comfortable with
