im not talking about those BFGs picture above. im talking about the GFORCES.

other than these are the 555Rs the best others i could go with? or would some michelins or toyos be better?

toyos are a really good tire go with the toyo proxy t1-r they havent been out to long I run them on the front they are a get wet and dry performing tire and have great traction and have a better wear rating than any of the drags and there fair priced

ORIGINAL: Zero 16X

i have bfg gforces on my rear. before i had Nitto 555s. They were cheap peices of rubber compared to these. I have had about 6k on them and theyre still running with more than half tread... i expect at least 10k-17k more out of them.
If your talking about comparing the regular radial gerforce tires to the nitto drag radials there is simply no comparason, nitto all the way.

My car came with a set of bfg geforce on it (bought it used) and it was a tire smoking car. Hard powerslides in 2nd gear every time, espcially with the 3.73s.

With just flows/k&N and the 3.73s my nittos almost completely shut down the 2nd gear scratch. Just simply no comparasion.

I have never had the regular 555rs on the back (non drag radial nitto) but they seem to do really well on the front.

no.. im trying to compare what i should get both BFG and NITTOs RADIAL wise.

i am currently running the nitto RADIALS in the rear and the NON-RADIALs up front, i like the setup.. but what im asking is- is there anywhere better to go..?

if not ill stick with them. i have just heard like multiple GOOD GOOD comments on the BFG gFORCE radials. i just wanted some feedback. only downside i heard was they last very SHORTLY vs the nitto radials.

Unfortunatley im running saleen 18x9s so i cant go bigger.

anyways WHICH TIRE SHOULD I GO WITH???
i have nitto 555's (255x35's) on the front
and nitto 555radials on the rear.. 285x35

i have like 12-15k mi on the nittos. so i def. need to ones in the rear?

should i stay or go? only the rears..
First off, both the Nittos and the BFG drag radials are going to be horrible on tread life. These tires were not designed for daily drivers. They were designed to get you to the strip where you air them down and run in the street class on DOT tires.

The Nitto's are going to wear a little better on a DD verses the same size BFG.

The BFG's is going to give you a little better traction versus the same size Nitto.

thanks for the perfect explanation. i already understand all that. i just was not sure which ones i should keep. you see i swap them out with a much cheaper non radial tire for my avid driving/crusing (its not a dd more so a 3day a week driver). other than that when i have fun and go out on fridays or track nights i swap the 555Rs on. (no need for slicks)

So,,,,,,,,what you want "us" to do is to make up "your" mind on which rears to keep?

lol more so, is there something better out there? that i should look into? i mean i usually run normal 555s on the rear when on the go. so its mostly- i need a new set of serious tires. ive even seen some michelins but they get $$$
