If I were you, which I'm not, look at the specs Bro. Go with a tire that has "AA" traction and a "300" or more tread ware. You can't go wrong with those specs.
Bias ply? Come on now.[:'(]

that and a couple bottles of wax you know how it goes. It stays in the garage 75% of the time so its always just really clean and shiny I never let it get dirty. My bro has an 02 GT and his is even darker than mine lucki bastard lol

This is what I think - well first off you can fit a 315 on a 17x9 rim.. I am doing it right now - with my Nittos...
If your looking for a Daily Driver tire, get the Nittos. If you're looking for a spare set of drag radials for the track, get the BF's. That's what it should come down to. The Nitto's have much better tread life, and are a lot better in the rain. That's why I got them, seeing how I live in Fla where it rains a lot and it's my Daily Driver.
I can tell you that unless I dump the clutch in my car, I get little to no wheel spin - the car takes off at 5mph rolls without any spin and barely chirps 2nd gear.
The size of the tire is this. If you go with BF's the 315 is to wide, but if you go with Nitto's you can fit 315's on your 9" rim, I am doing it right now, and while there is a small bulge it's not very noticable and have got nothing but compliments since i've put them on, and it didn't look to difficult for the guys at the shop to put them on. Even had a Mach owner say to me "I was goin to run you, but I saw those tires and thought better of it" - as he sat in the turn lane.
This is my vote: track tires go with BF, daily drivers - stick with Nitto.
