IMO a 17 year old driver with little experence doesn't have any buisness driving anything with a V8 and RWD, nor the capablity to run 140+ MPH.

I would never have said that when I was 17 though.

I got my mustang when I was over 20 years old, with literally well over 100K driven miles, and the car still almost got away from me a time or two before I learned to truly respect it.

Not to be a downer, but even a stock 14 second GT is a handful when your just starting out. Compared to 90 percent of the cars out there there is just no comparasion to the acelleration etc. I went from a 5.0L automatic RWD tbird, and I thought I had a real racecar on my hands the first time I drove my GT/.

Acutally, the only legit race I ever lost with the car stock was really embarassing. It was to a mid 70s farm looking truck with a 383 stroker engine and a 150 shot of juice.

Lol, you never know wtf your gonna run into down here.

On the plus side, I pulled up to a entire carlot of "racers" and they had to call in this farm truck just to beat a stock GT... so thats not too bad.

Obviously I never raced a LS1 car stock though
