Wierd smell after Clutch install??

I dont really think you need to break in a clutch. Thats like breaking in brake pads.
Well when i did my stage 1 i was specifically told to let it break in for 3k miles, not to dump it or power shift till its broken in

yes all clutches have to break in...drive around for a while and see if it goes away. if your clutch explodes or if it is still doing it after 1000 miles...some ting is wrong

I drove the car about 70 miles last night and it didnt give off any smells. While cruising in 5th gear i pulled on the clutch pedal and i guess it adjusted itself because now the pedal feels completely different. There is a little slack in the pedal and it engages about half way down the pedal like the stock one did before the install. I never thought installing a clutch would be this much of a PITA.....
