Take it to a shop. If you get gears for highway driving, you will get stomped if you ever get into a race with another stang unless its a 6
ive taken bone stock NPIs in my 6er

that really doesnnt seem right, with a t45 and 4.10s he should be taching just under 3k
I was at 3000 on the dot @80 in my cobra (same transmission)... Tire height if he put non stock size tires can make a difference.. it was only 200rpms or so below 3000 @75.. still very close.. so it sounds about right to me.
what gears and tires size were you running?
[&:] my buddies 99 was at 3k with 4.10s

Honestly if you really do want to improve gas mliage the only mod you need is your right foot backing away from the pedal.

Write down your milage and MPG, and do a test. Drive however you want, and say 10 MPH over the limit on the highway for a couple weeks.

Then drive as easy as you can, shifting very early, and drive exactly the speed limit on the highway. Keep the cuise on and don't hammer on it when getting on the highway.

I guarentee you see a massive difference in MPG. Even in my little DD prizim I can make a 3-4 MPG difference by driving 70 MPH instaed of 80 and not getting on it, and thats a four cylinder compared to a V8.

My car with 295/35/18 tire which equals 26.12 overall diameter with 4.10's and a T-45 is going 85mph at 3000k so 75 at 3k with 3.73 seems a little off to me.
