Oh wow, I didn't know this! Guess I will take it back to the shop in a few weeks if I notice it shift. Thanks for the tip.

well did your shop weld or didi it just bolt on. I had a prob with the axle overhang hitting the trrnk. then the rear kept coming loose due to the fact that i didnt use the lock stuff. you can't hear it unless you know your car. but i know my car to the T, so any rattle, any twitch i know. I have done everything myself on my car. not many people can clain that.

They bolted it on, and used all the lock stuff. The exhaust is rock solid and no leaks. The right tip is not perfectly symettrical w/ the left, how do I adjust the tip? Just unscrew the lock on the top part of the tip and adjust it? The exhaust looks fine, but I'm **** about it being "perfect", and the exact same on both sides.

Loosen the bolt on the rear of the tip a little. You should be able to maneuver it then. If you still can't get it into position, loosen the alan screw on the tip hanger to let the rod rotate freely and then adjust. Once you have it in position, reverse the process.

The only issue I've had is that the left tip does not tighten enough on the tail pipe and vibration cause it to move back under the car. Not enough to come loose from the hanger, but the tip just recesses below the bumper. I fixed it by putting a 2.5" hose clamp behind the tip on the tail pipe. Now, the tip butts up to it and cannot recess. Cost: about $2.

Wow, we have purty cars. Gotta love Sonic Blue.

You da man Blue! I will try that tonight before I goto bed. And yes, we have a very sexy color. I originally was going to get my car, same options everything except in the yellow color, but it sold before I could get it. Luckily this one came along with less miles, lower price and a better color.
